Pyro Inspirations Awards winners announced at The Mount Nelson

The role of packaging is increasingly important in the age of environmental awareness. The French government have a successful pilot scheme running with over 160 major brands participating including Heineken, Unilever and Procter & Gamble.

This demonstrates that packaging can be used as a solution to a problem as opposed to be the cause of a problem. Standard self-adhesive labels and multi-page labels provide an opportunity to display such information helping to educate consumers on the impact packaging has. Furthermore, it allows the packaging industry to become more innovative in the way they incorporate packaging whilst being aware of the environmental impact it brings along with it.
