Animated packaging - could this be the key to persuasion?

A recent report issued by Newcastle Business School (UK) has laid claim that shoppers have a growing desire for ‘honest labelling’. The survey targeted over 400 UK shoppers asking questions about their thoughts on carbon labelling and the effect of packaging on the environment.

68% claimed their purchasing behaviour had definitely changed over the last 10 years. Whilst quality and taste topped the list (76%), an overwhelming 63% wanted more information on carbon labels stating it would be a useful indicator for comparing environmental standards.
