As part of its business activities Fix-a-Form International Ltd seeks to consider its impact on customers, suppliers, employees and their dependants, shareholders, local communities and the environment, and where possible have a positive effect.
Our products are used to fulfill an important social need:
In the pharmaceutical sector leaflet labels are proven to be more effective than loose leaflets in communicating vital drug usage to patients. This ensures drugs are used correctly and effectively, and reduces the dangers of incorrect use.
Additional label space allows the use of pictograms, helping to communicate to the partially sighted or illiterate. For example, by using pictograms on agrochemical products end-users in developing countries are able to increase their crop yields.
Packaging waste reduction; Fix-a-Form® leaflet labels can reduce outer packaging such as cartons and loose leaflets. This can have a significant short and long term effect on the environment as well as speeding up the packaging process for the manufacturer.

Respecting our suppliers; it is our policy to pay all our suppliers, however big or small, within the agreed credit terms.
Waste reduction program; it is our policy to continually strive to reduce all types of waste, including process waste, energy, materials etc, through lean manufacture, recycling and use of emergent technologies.
As a machine manufacturer, we buy back and recycle our old equipment to ensure the materials are disposed of correctly or re-used in an efficient manner.
We are committed to training and up-skilling existing and new staff. Our apprenticeship scheme aims to avoid skills shortages in the local labour force.
Some of our Social Activities:
Every employee of Fix-a-Form International is allowed 1 day per year out of their work schedule to partake - on full pay - in an activity that benefits the community. This could be doing a charity event or giving blood, for example.
The company supports the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, offering input from the perspective of a local company as well as getting involved in local business events to promote each others businesses.
The company promotes cycling to work as an environmentally friendly method of getting to work as well as helping staff keep fit and healthy. Provisions include well covered bike stores, showers and lockers as well as interest free loans for purchasing bikes and equipment in conjunction with a registered Cycle Scheme. The local West Suffolk Wheelers cycling club are also strongly supported by the company.
Encouraging young engineers - each year Fix-a-Form International provides one free training place to a local student on a relevant engineering course.
Like many companies we no longer send seasonal greetings cards but prefer instead to send an e-greeting card and donate the money that would have been spent to charity. Last year’s chosen beneficiary was international children’s charity Unicef.
