Informational Case Study:
Vitaflo Patient-friendly Packaging
When Vitaflo wanted to redesign the pack size of their PKU Cooler 10 protein supplement, they chose Fix-a-Form multi-page labels as the best way to include important nutritional information on the inner boxes.
The new patient focused packaging contains three inner boxes of 10 pouches, instead of one box of 30. The PKU Cooler 10 fridge box packaging, with a child-friendly feel, makes the products more appealing and “normal” to young children, while remaining easy to open and store for parents.
"Fix-a-Form (leaflet label) provided the extra space needed whilst maintaining a compact label. We saw it as a ‘one-stop-shop’ in getting the label from artwork stage, to printing and then attaching to our packaging."
To ensure best practice is upheld in the event of the inner boxes being separated, Fix-a-Form multi-page labels are used to guarantee important nutritional information remains available to the patient.
A spokesperson for Vitaflo commented,
“We wanted to convey nutritional information in nine different languages to suit our global market. Fix-a-Form provided the extra space needed whilst maintaining a compact label. We saw it as a ‘one-stop-shop’ in getting the label from artwork stage, to printing and then attaching to our packaging. We also thought its sticker style appearance would be appealing to the children using our products.”
